Garynahine Estate and Garynahine Lodge

The Sporting Estate amounting to 12,000 acres has in excess of 40 inland lochs and the whole of the River Blackwater which extends to approximately 4 miles with fishing from both banks.

Garynahine is a Country sportsman dream, with wonderful spring and summer salmon and trout fishing and exceptional fishing in the winter, amidst spectacular scenery. In the autumn the walked-up grouse, snipe and wildfowl provide additional sport and there is a growing herd of red deer in the plantations.

The sea with its bountiful harvest of mackerel and white fish, is readily available and great fun is to be had sea-fishing and lobster potting.

Garynahine Lodge has room and the facilities to lodge a party of 12 persons in comfort. The Lodge is 12 miles from Stornoway.

Garynahine Estate and Lodge are under new ownership as from the 12th of January 2011.
